We went to the Island of Philae where the temple of Isis is. This used to be in a different spot but when the upper dam was put in they had to remove it and move it to its new location. They didn’t do the greatest of jobs, and couldn’t align the stones correctly. Though an amazing site with some amazing carvings. Mohamed and I made a great discover about the sphinx here where Tefnut is being offered a representation of herself as the sphinx. Interesting and beautiful place. A lot of energy here as well. Sad that most of the images of the feminine are defaced here. AND found another Mayan headdress here. This depiction is of the same neter from over 1000 years later than that found at Elephantine island.
