Although the site of Chinchero is now a Catholic church and township of amazing weavers and textile creators, there is an interesting array of Inca style terracing in the fields behind. There are also much older boulders that have been hollowed out and shaped with odd removals, staircases, and yes “tool marks” of an unknown source cutting out the floor of one of the removals giving it an almost-sculpted in a soft material before hardened-look.
