We went to the Ramses Temple where there is an amazing statue toppled over. the statue and its base weighs 1000tons so it is one of the largest in the world. I also noticed a correction to the colossus of Memnon where the knee cracked and a keystone repair was placed into it. Not sure when this was done but as it was cracked, could have been during dynastic times. Then we went to the temple of Hatshepsut temple, sadly all reconstructed, and 110 degrees in the shade but with all the granite – MUCH HOTTER!! however there are depictions of “sea” animals which would prove that the ancient Khemetians or even Egyptians traveled the seas which egyptologists claim did not happen… sure did…
